We're a team; Christians who are passionate about the interface between politics and religion--the place where all the important stuff in the world happens. The foundation for any good government is the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule, both of which are simple common sense and come from the Judeo/Christian worldview.

The picture of the windmill is from the south side. That windmill was removed when a community water system became available in about 1954. That is the best date I have on the picture. It occurs to me that some people are probably baffled by the Simpson house reference. This house was built by Frank Simpson, in about 1909,whose son, Robert, later married Isadore Lathrop. The house and 50 acre farm were sold to Charles Sumner Lathrop in about 1926 and is considered the old family home for that family. It is located at what is now 7363 Lincoln, Dexter, New Mexico, and is currently in very poor shape.

The picture of downtown Dexter is from about 1910 which would be about when the Lathrops first arrived in the Pecos Valley. It looks remarkably similar today.

The picture of Eugene Grant Lathrop and Laura Delano Lathrop is outside their front door at the house at what is now 7298 Shoshoni Road, Dexter, New Mexico. The current owner and occupant is Linda Flores whose parents Frank and Josepfine Flores bought the house and associated 40 acres in the mid-fifties. This picture must have been about 1940.
